theBEAT

Free on iPhone · open now

Everything in theBEAT is free to switch on while we build.

Open in DC, Maryland and Virginia. No card. No code. No waiting list.

*Installs through TestFlight, Apple’s official install app. Two taps, about forty seconds, no card. The switched-on features lapse every week or so on Apple’s clock — switch them back on, still free, every time.

We’ve got it. Your invite comes from Apple.

We add this address to the beta group, and Apple emails you the install link — from Apple, to the address you just gave us. Check your junk folder; Apple’s invites have a habit of landing there. Use the same address for your Apple ID and it arrives clean.

Then it’s two taps: install TestFlight, then tap our invite. About forty seconds, no card, nothing to cancel.

Nothing arrived? Write to [email protected] and a person will put it right.

What you’re installing

You install it, you tell it how you eat, and the board re-sorts around you: gluten-free, halal, kosher, dairy-free, the rest of them.

Every dietary chip lands one of two ways. Green means we’re holding the venue’s own dated words on file. Amber means we haven’t got them yet, and we’d rather say so than color it in.

The full rankings, the Hunt, the Concierge — switched on today, for everyone. You’re the one who switches them.

Free is a tier, not a trial

It doesn’t expire and it never asks for a card. Your Top 10 dishes nearest you, sorted for how you eat and what time it is. Group Hunt, so the group chat gets settled in one link. Next Eats, to hold onto whatever you spot. And a vote that counts exactly as much as a founder’s — that one isn’t a perk, it’s the whole point of a ranking.

Then the part that never moves: every dietary, religious and lifestyle filter is free, and always will be. Safety isn’t a paywall. If we hold a receipt on a dish you can eat, you see it — whether or not you’ve ever given us a dollar.

Free on iPhone today. Founding membership is a separate thing, and it’s for life — $159 once, 300 seats, and you keep all of it when the doors sort at launch.
